Picnic with a purpose at Killarney Picnic Basket Day!

We love our country life on the Southern Downs and we can’t wait to share it!

Picnic Basket Day is a chance to relish our gorgeous views and to spend time with friends and family.

One of Southern Queensland’s most spectacular private gardens, Melrose Station, hosts local producers and makers on the rolling lawns above their spectacular lake.

We invite you spend a day in the gardens being inspired by our local creative artists, and grazing on luscious local food while supporting our lovely little community.

Bring your picnic blanket and chairs and set up a spot in the grounds.  A variety of food stalls will offer BBQ, baked potatoes, pizza, pancakes, Devonshire morning tea, cupcakes, fruit salad and ice cream.

Raffles and local featured musicians add to the relaxed event.

This year’s proceeds will go the the QCWA Public Rural Crisis Fund, with funds remaining in the local area..

Killarney’s Picnic Basket Day will be held on Sunday 5 April 2020, from 10am to 4pm at Melrose Station.   For more information contact 0437 109 912.
